Reverse Insulin Resistance Using Simple And Precise Guidelines

By Mattie MacDonald

Inability to properly control blood sugar is the root cause of diabetes. This is a chronic illness which comes in many forms and types. It may arise as a result of insufficient insulin hormone production or due to resistance against produced hormone. In this case, the discussion focuses on management of resistance. This is observed in type two kind of diabetes. Scholars have now verified that there are simple and efficient strategies to reverse insulin resistance.

Eating sugar rich food is the primary cause of blood sugar rise. Reversing this phenomenon would then be simple and only require omitting such sugary food in diet. Similarly, individual may decide to take small amounts of carbohydrates if it becomes difficult to eliminate them from diet. It is advisable that diabetic persons take much of food rich in fats and proteins and omit sugar rich meals.

Exercise is yet another effective way of reversing chronic fluctuations in blood sugars. This may be possible in two ways; first is by eliminating excess sugars in the blood. During intense exercise, body cells consume much of available sugars through respiration and therefore there is no overload of the vascular system with carbohydrate. Secondly, intense activity promotes consumption of carbohydrates and therefore reduces production of insulin. Over a period of time, insulin levels begin to stabilize.

Applying two named strategies show synergistic kind of relationship; each adds to the quality of expected outcome from the other. If this approach strictly followed, its outcome is usually a favorable one with majority achieving nearly complete reverse. For this reason, it has also been described as a treatment for insulin resistance.

Rest is a way of relieving stress and promoting comfort. A stress free body is relaxed and therefore does not produce stress related autonomic system response which would otherwise lead to release of more sugar into circulation. Such rest may be achieved by having a good sleep of not less than eight hours a day. Similarly, one may take a nap in the day and manage stressing factors appropriately.

Good nutritional status of an individual has been shown to limit resistance. When the body is deficient in some essential minerals then it begins to show malfunctioning. Some of these malfunctions result to mild and negligible problems while others are life threatening. Vital elements include glut-amine, vitamin B6 and chromium among many more.

In addition to above mentioned strategies, avoiding some other substances that stimulate production of triglycerides is necessary. These may include and are not limited to alcohol, tobacco smoke and caffeine.

In summary therefore, all persons should make it their responsibility to remain healthy. This should be the case whether one has been diagnosed with such resistance or not. Even with the disease, one possibly leads a comfortable life and even restores self to a previous healthy state by following simple lifestyle guides. Quality life is an asset that all people should access in whichever way possible and not even diabetes should take it away.
