Functions Of The Soy Vitamins To The Body

By Leslie Ball

Unlike other nutrients found in foods like the carbohydrates, vitamins are very essential in the functionality of humans. Due to its unique nature vitamins are not produced by the body thus they have to be absorbed from the sources of food man partakes in their daily consumption like the soy a bean and its other extracts like the soy milk and its beverages like the soya drink which contains soy vitamins like thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, biotin, vitamin b12 and folic acid which all have various functionalities of a human body.

The vitamin Thiamine which is also known as vitamin B1 which is found in soya at varying levels depending on growth conditions and other environmental conditions like the soil composition which in turn determines its concentration. Thiamine is necessary in body metabolism whereby it helps the body cells change carbohydrates into energy, it is also vital in muscle contraction and is crucial in conduction of nerve signals.

The hormones made in a human being are a necessary part of the functions of a human being; they control the functionality, emotional and the psychological part of humans. The vitamin B12 is vital in the formation of these hormones. One of its major sources of this vitamin also known as niacin is found in soya beans and can be consumed either by eating the soya bean directly or by taking its products such as soya milk.

The nervous system is basically the transmission system of human pulses that sends signals from the brain to the other organs around the body that carry out the actions the brain perceives. Biotin being a vitamin found in Soy helps carry out the transmission of pulses across the body. Apart from helping in transmission, it also helps in conversion of carbohydrates to energy for use by the body.

No two human beings will ever be the same, even in identical twins; this is all due to the DNA of human beings. The DNA is different from one human being to the next. The DNA of human beings is formed by a vitamin known as the folic acid which is vital in formation of DNA of human beings thus helping in creation of human identity. This vitamin has its sources from soya beans.

Soya also has another vitamin also known as the Riboflavin. This vitamin is necessary in human anatomy since it basically a defensive vitamin that not only protects ones body but also shields the DNA from damage from other destructive elements that work against the DNA.

The red blood cells are usually considered a necessity in the body of human beings mainly because of the transporting role they play. Part of the cells composition includes the vitamin B12 which is normally found in soya beans.

As earlier stated soya beans proves to be a vital food source to the human race since it contains a series of nutrient sources such as the vitamins.
