With HCG Weight Loss Boca Raton Dieters Have Found Something That Works At Last

By Lila Bryant

Anyone trying to lose weight will testify that there are a bewildering number of miracle diets, special tonics, pills and plans that guarantee that the participant will lose the pounds. Millions of people actually need to shed some pounds as obesity is fast becoming one of the main health risks worldwide. With HCG Weight Loss Boca Raton FL residents have found that they have finally found a method that actually works for them.

The diet plan is named after the term Human Chrorionic Gonadotropin. It is a hormone that is found in the placentas of all women. The level of this hormone rises very sharply during pregnancy and scientists have discovered that its purpose is to control the metabolism of women expecting a child. This hormone is used in various forms to help other people to diet effectively.

When making dramatic changes to the diet it is advisable to first seek medical advice. Most vendors of diet plans and aids promise that their methods are safe but this should not be accepted at face value. People suffering from diseases such as heart conditions, diabetes and conditions involving the blood should be very careful and should most definitely consult with their attending physicians.

There are three stages in this strict diet. The first stage is strange to many dieters and they tend to skip it, but they must not do so. During this stage they must eat as much calories as possible. Food such as pastries, chocolate, beef and pork is recommended. However, dieters must drink considerably more water than they are used to.

The second stage becomes restrictive. Dieters must reduce their calorie intake to a maximum of five hundred. It is true that such a dramatic reduction will ordinarily slow down the metabolism, but that is what the hormonal drops supplied with the diet is for. It allows the body to receive just enough nutrients while fat is burned very quickly. This stage can last from twenty to forty days.

It is during the second phase that dieters have to achieve their targeted weight. That is why the length of this phase varies from person to person. If this phase is followed for forty days, forty pounds should be shed. After this phase, however, dieters move on the third and last phase. This is a maintenance phase. It involves reintroducing sugars and starches to the daily diet, but this is done slowly.

Dieters can continue with the third cycle indefinitely. If they do, it is unlikely that they will gain pounds again. If, however, dieters now want to lose even more pounds, they can revert back to the second cycle. Theoretically, dieters should have lost at least forty pounds when going through the second cycle the first time if they stuck to it for forty days.

This diet is not suitable for everybody, as admitted even by the designers of the program. Those suffering from thyroid problems, diabetes and heart conditions should not consider it at all. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should also not follow this diet, or any other diet, for that matter.
